Welcome to Konveneo ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, hardware devices, software services, and any related platforms (collectively, "Services").
By accessing or using Konveneo's Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1. Eligibility
By using our Services, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old
- You have the authority to enter into a binding agreement
- You are using the Services in compliance with all applicable laws
If you are using Konveneo services on behalf of a builder, company, or association, you represent that you are authorized to do so.
2. Use of Konveneo Services
You agree to:
- Use our Services only for lawful purposes
- Not interfere with the performance, security, or integrity of the Services
- Not reverse engineer, modify, or attempt to access the underlying source code
- Not attempt unauthorized access to our servers, systems, or data
Konveneo may suspend or terminate access without notice for violations.
3. Account Registration
To use certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, up-to-date information
- Maintain confidentiality of your login credentials
- Accept full responsibility for all activities conducted under your account
Konveneo is not liable for loss or damage arising from unauthorized account access caused by your negligence.
4. Hardware Devices & Installations
Konveneo provides proprietary home automation devices and installations. By using Konveneo devices, you acknowledge:
- Incorrect installation by non-authorized personnel may void warranty
- You are responsible for safe usage of hardware in compliance with electrical standards
- Konveneo is not responsible for damage caused by third-party devices connected to our hardware
- Some functions may depend on your internet connection, Wi-Fi quality, power supply, or third-party services
Builders & Project Installations
If your automation was installed as part of a builder's project, additional contractual terms between Konveneo and the builder may apply.
5. Software License
When using our mobile app or firmware, Konveneo grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the software solely for personal, non-commercial use.
You may NOT:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works
- Distribute or sublicense the software
- Attempt to bypass authentication or security
- Use the software for illegal or harmful activities
6. Payments, Pricing, and Refunds
A. Pricing
All prices for products, installations, or services will be provided prior to purchase. Konveneo may revise pricing at any time.
B. Payment Terms
You agree to pay all charges for:
- Hardware devices
- Installation services
- Maintenance or AMC (if applicable)
- Software features or upgrades (if introduced in the future)
C. Refunds
Refunds are governed by Konveneo's Refund & Warranty Policy. Generally:
- Hardware refunds are allowed only if unused, undamaged, and returned within the specified period
- Installation charges are non-refundable once completed
- Custom project integrations may not be eligible for refunds
7. Warranty
Konveneo provides warranty coverage as per your purchase order and warranty booklet. Warranty may not apply if:
- Devices are damaged due to electrical surges, flooding, tampering, or misuse
- Installation was performed by unauthorized personnel
- Devices were modified or combined with incompatible systems

8. Service Availability & Updates
Konveneo strives for continuous service uptime but does not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Timely delivery of notifications
- Compatibility with all routers, devices, or third-party smart ecosystems
We may release updates, bug fixes, or firmware patches. Some updates may be mandatory for secure and proper functioning.
9. Third-Party Integrations
Konveneo may integrate with third-party platforms (e.g., Alexa, Google Home, Siri, Matter, etc.). Konveneo is not liable for:
- Outages or downtime of third-party services
- Changes in their APIs, features, or compatibility
- Any data shared with such third-party systems by the user
Use of integrations is subject to each provider's own terms & policies.
10. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use Konveneo systems for harmful automation (e.g., overloading appliances)
- Use the Services to violate privacy of others
- Attempt unauthorized access to another user's home automation system
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or security threats
- Use our Services to control devices that may pose life-threatening risks
Violation may result in immediate service termination and legal action.
11. Intellectual Property
All content provided by Konveneo—including logos, product designs, UI/UX, app features, firmware, written content, and branding—is protected under copyright and trademark laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, or use any Konveneo intellectual property without explicit written permission.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Konveneo will not be liable for:
- Loss of profits, revenue, or data
- Damages due to misuse, faulty installation, or third-party actions
- Interruptions caused by power outages, Wi-Fi issues, or ISP failures
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific device or service.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Konveneo harmless from:
- Claims arising from your misuse of the Services
- Violations of these Terms
- Third-party claims resulting from your actions
- Damage caused by your unauthorized modifications
14. Suspension & Termination
Konveneo may suspend or terminate your account or device access if:
- You violate these Terms
- Fraudulent or harmful activity is detected
- Required for security reasons
- Required by law
You may terminate your account at any time.
15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, specifically the jurisdiction of Bengaluru.
Any disputes shall be resolved through:
- Initial negotiation
- Mediation
- Arbitration as per the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996
Courts in Bengaluru will have exclusive jurisdiction.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do:
- The "Last Updated" date will be changed
- We may notify users via email or app notification
Continued use of our Services indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
